Forloh Camo Clothing Review | USA MADE FORLOH Hunting Clothing – Worth the Extra Money? My 2 Cents

Hunting clothing has come a LONG WAY in recent years, and it’s now widely considered “gear” rather than clothing. This FORLOH Camo clothing review comes after having tested other brands over the previous 10 years, and really coming to appreciate high performing hunting clothing. While one certainly does not “need” high-end hunting clothing to be successful, it would be a gross misstatement to say that quality hunting clothing does not improve your experience in the field. In many cases, having the best hunting clothing you can afford allows you to stay out longer while being much more comfortable.

Is High-Performance Hunting Clothing Worth The Money?

Forloh camo clothing review - FORLOH Thermoneutral Down Jacket review

Hunting clothing has gotten expensive. There is just no way around it. The real question, though, is whether it is worth the extra money. For many, many years my hunting clothing consisted of mostly cotton, paired with army surplus pants, coats, and layers. While that is certainly more cost effective than today’s camo hunting clothing, it also means frequently ending hunting trips early because weather conditions outpaced the ability of the clothing we were wearing.

Spend enough time in the backcountry and adverse weather is inevitable. That could mean extremely hot temperatures during early season archery pursuits, or winter storms rolling in during your mid to late season trips. Either way, the right high quality clothing made from the proper materials will not only keep you in the field, but it’ll make your time more enjoyable. This Forloh clothing review came from that pursuit.

Make sure to check out our other clothing reviews and the Backwoods Pursuit YouTube Channel to help you decide what gear will help you stay out in the field longer!

While this isn’t the full men’s Forloh lineup, we were able to get a pretty good idea of the performance of some Forloh hunting clothes; areas they excel and a few areas that could be improved upon.

100% USA MADE AND SOURCED

One thing you won’t find out on the market very much these days are products that are not only 100% made in the USA, but where all the materials are 100% sourced in the USA. That in and of itself is a monumental task, but Forloh has done just that. Now as with anything made in the USA, it does come at an extra cost, but you can be sure that Forloh supports American jobs and keeps everything in the United States. It might be easy to gloss over this fact, but it can’t be overstated enough just how difficult this is. Despite that fact, however, Forloh remains committed to America, and that is impressive.

The Testing – Forloh Camo Clothing Review

Forloh camo clothing review - FORLOH Allclima L3 Rain Jacket review

Throughout our use and testing, we had everything from downpours in the spring, excessively warm temperatures in September, and downright cold weather in October and November where we were hit with early snowstorms, single digit temperatures, and nasty rainstorms. While this certainly created some challenges on our hunts, it also gave me a perfect opportunity to see how this Forloh hunting clothing would perform.

What I Tested – Forloh Camo Clothing Review

Forloh camo clothing review - FORLOH Thermoneutral Down Jacket review

During the last two hunting seasons, I was able to field test a number of pieces for this Forloh camo clothing review. This testing comes on the heels of over 5 years of using and reviewing clothes from Sitka Gear and First Light. With that experience in my back pocket, I had high hopes for the Forloh hunting clothing line as it is one of the only truly 100% USA sourced and made hunting clothing companies on the market.

For this Forloh camo clothing review, I was able to test out the following:

Check out our other optics’ reviews, as well as our massive 19 Spotting Scope Review where we lined up 19 of the best spotting scopes on the market and tested them side by side!

That’s a great list, but there are also a few others that are (and continue to be) out of stock that we are hoping to test in the coming months/years like the Forloh Allclima Soft Shell Jacket, the Airalight Rain Jacket, and others. If we do, we’ll update this review!

Forloh Sizing – Forloh Camo Clothing Review

Forloh camo clothing review - FORLOH Deep Space half zip shirt review

One of the things that can make or break clothing in the backcountry is the fit. Like boots, when clothes aren’t comfortable and don’t fit you properly, it just makes life in the outdoors less enjoyable (or even downright miserable). I wasn’t quite sure what to expect with Forloh camo clothing a far as how they’d fit, but I went with my typical size. Forloh states that their fit is designed for layering, so base layers are meant to fit a bit tighter, while outer layers are sized more generously.

I found the fit to be right on for me. I typically wear a size large in shirts, and the Forloh camo clothing fit just as they indicated. No returns or exchanges needed, which was a plus as there are no retail stores to go try their clothes on.

Looking for a pair of binoculars? Check out our MASSIVE 26 BINOCULAR REVIEW where we put 26 of the best binoculars side by side!

I found that the base layers fit snugly, while the mid layers fit a little more loosely, with the jackets offering plenty of room to layer underneath, but not an excessive amount. For me, the fit was really dialed in.

Forloh Naming Convention – Forloh Camo Clothing Review

When I first started looking at all the offerings from Forloh, I wasn’t quite sure what the differences were between the base layers in the Deep Space Collection and the SolAir Collection. They also have the AllClima Collection, the Airalite Collection, and the Thermoneutral Down Collection.

Here’s how each of them fit together:

FORLOH SOLAIR COLLECTION

The Forloh Solair collection is their warm weather collection that integrates Brrr© Pro technology , which is designed to help keep you cooler. I’ve tested these and can confirm it does in fact work. This collection includes lightweight pants, lightweight pants with Insect Shield, shorts, crew tee shirts, long sleeve shirts, hooded shirts, and a technical full zip hoody.

FORLOH DEEP SPACE COLLECTION

The Forloh Deep Space Collection is their cold weather base layer collection. These are the base layers you want to grab for your cold weather pursuits or any time you want to stay a bit warmer. I even used Deep Space Crew during my early season archery hunt if temperatures were cooler. This collection has a good variety of configurations from long sleeve crew shirts, to 1/2 zip (to layer over the crew), and base layer bottoms.

FORLOH AIRALITE COLLECTION

The Airalite Collection is their lightweight rain collection and currently comes in both a lightweight rain jacket and pants.

FORLOH ALLCLIMA 3L COLLECTION

The Forloh Allclima 3L Collection is likely to be most people’s go-to lineup as it includes the durable Allclima 3L rain jacket and 3L rain pants, their super popular Stretch Woven Pants, the Allclima Soft Shell Jacket.

FORLOH THERMONEUTRAL DOWN COLLECTION

As the name implies, this is your cold weather insulation collection. These are the pieces you will grab when the temperatures really drop and you need insulation.

How I Layered – Forloh Camo Clothing Review

Forloh camo clothing review - FORLOH Thermoneutral Down Jacket review

During my testing, I settled on a number of various layering system combinations that worked really well for me. Here is how I layered in different temperatures and what I found to be the best Forloh layering system for me.

Forloh Base Layers

Let’s start with the base layers as they are the foundation of the Forloh Layering System. There are a number of combinations you can use, but I found that I typically start with the Solair Collection for warmer weather and the Deep Space collection for colder weather hunts. That being said, I also found myself grabbing the Deep Space base layers during early season archery hunting if temperatures were going to be on the cooler side, and they worked very well.

Details on Each Piece Tested

Let’s take a look at the details of each of the pieces I tested, how they performed, and some of the pros and cons I came away with after using them in the field.

Forloh Solair Technical Hoody

Forloh camo clothing review - FORLOH SolAir Technical Hoody review

The Forloh Solair base layers are meant to be your warm weather pieces with their integrated Brrr© Pro technology. These work better than the Deep Space base layers for your early archery season hunts as they do have some warmth to them, but the Brrr© Pro makes a real difference in keeping you cool. I also used the SolAir Technical Hoody into October during mild temperatures, and it worked OK, but I found that the cooling agent was not ideal for the typical temperatures we face in October, where it generally drops well below freezing overnight.

Just as an experiment, I tested the SolAir Technical Hoody and used it as my sleeping base layer on an October backpacking trip. A couple nights of that and I was a believer in the Brrr© Pro technology cooling agent. There was a distinct difference between that and the Deep Space collection as I always felt cool at night, even though my sleeping bag was more than sufficient for the temperatures we were experiencing.

Forloh camo clothing review - FORLOH SolAir Technical Hoody review

During active hiking, the SolAir Technical Hoody did great and the Brrr© Pro technology was much appreciated helping keep me cool, but it isn’t a go-to piece for sitting when your blood isn’t pumping and you’re not warm.

FINAL ASSESSMENT – FORLOH SOLAIR TECHNICAL HOODY

At the end of the day, I found the Forloh Solair Technical Hoody to be an odd piece. It’s a full-zip, hooded jacket that isn’t a lightweight piece, but it’s not particularly warm due to the integrated brr° Pro. I found myself wishing the brr° Pro wasn’t integrated into this piece and that this was in the Deep Space lineup. It has all the makings of a late season mid-layer, but the brr° Pro works against that. If I’m carrying a heavier piece like this during early season, it’s because I’m wanting extra warmth, but it’s not a particularly warm piece, especially for its weight. If this were in the Deep Space Collection, I would be all about it.

While this might not be my cup of tea for the type of hunting situations I find myself in, it could be just what you are looking for. It is a very well-made, super comfortable piece that is easy to put on and take off. It features nice pockets in the front and a very loose fit. In fact, I could have even gone down one size if I wanted a tighter fit.

Forloh Deep Space: Forloh Mid Layers

Forloh camo clothing review - FORLOH Deep Space Crew shirt review

The Forloh Deep Space Collection is in their cold weather collection and works extremely well as a mid-layer or next-to-skin layer, depending on the temperatures. The Deep Space Collection includes the widest variety of pieces that Forloh offers, which includes:

I LOVE the Deep Space Collection and the variety it offers. I found myself putting the crew base layer under the 1/2 zip mid-layer, which worked extremely well. I should note though, that the Deep Space Crew base layer and the Deep Space 1/2 Zip both seemed to be the same warmth/thickness, so really they are the same piece, just different configurations. That said, I typically found that wearing the crew under the 1/2 zip works really well.

I also love that Forloh hunting clothing is offered in both women’s and youth options, and I hope to see their collections grow as well!

Forloh Deep Space Crew: Forloh Base Layers

Forloh camo clothing review - FORLOH Deep Space Crew shirt review

The Forloh Deep Space Crew Shirt is the foundational piece of the Forloh layering system, particularly for colder weather. For comparison sake, I would say the warmth of this piece would be similar to the Sitka Core Midweight Zip-T, which would put it more in the mid-weight category. For me though, that is the type of base layer I want when temperatures are on the colder side.

BOTTOM LINE – FORLOH DEEP SPACE CREW

Forloh camo clothing review - FORLOH Deep Space Crew shirt review

The Forloh Deep Space Crew is a piece I always found myself grabbing. It is very warm for its weight and extremely soft and comfortable as a next-to-skin layer. The Trizar technology does a phenomenal job of eliminating odor, providing extra warmth (they state 2 degrees of extra warmth to be exact), and breathes well. I never felt clammy or overheated. However, I’d still grab the SolAir for warmer weather hunts.

I wish that Forloh made this piece in a hooded option as I like to have a lightweight, hooded base layer to sleep in when backpack hunting. Hopefully this be another option added to their lineup soon! The high quality thumb loops are top-notch as well, showing just how committed Forloh is to the quality of their pieces.

Forloh Deep Space 1/2 Zip: Forloh Base Layers

Forloh camo clothing review - FORLOH Deep Space half zip shirt review

The Forloh Deep Space 1/2 Zip is technically, and performance wise, very similar to the crew, but with the 1/2 zip you get a zippered chest pocket, a 1/2 collar, and a zipper that makes getting it on and off easier, as well as provides a way to vent if needed. The zipper is really more of a 1/4 zip rather than a 1/2 zip, but that didn’t bother me at all.

This was probably my favorite Forloh base layer, as I personally like the 1/2 zip style with a 1/2 collar to help keep drafts out on cold days. This piece works perfectly as either a base layer or mid layer, depending on the temperatures. It is super comfortable and being on the athletic side, the fit was spot on. If you like a baggy fit, then I would size up.

BOTTOM LINE – FORLOH DEEP SPACE 1/2 ZIP

Forloh camo clothing review - FORLOH Deep Space half zip shirt review

The Forloh Deep Space 1/2 Zip was my favorite all-around base layer piece. While it is a bit too warm for early archery season when summer is slowly fading into fall (go with the SolAir collection for that), I found it to be a piece that nearly always got used unless temperatures called for something lighter weight. It is warm, soft, extremely comfortable, and very lightweight particularly for its warmth.

Forloh SolAir Pants – Forloh Clothing Review

Forloh SolAir Pants review

Next we’ll look at the Forloh Insect Shield SolAir Pants. These come in two variations; with and without Insect Shield. The active ingredient in Insect Shield is tightly bonded fibers that repel pesky insects. It also has a life expectancy of the life of the garment (70 washings), so you don’t have to worry about it wearing off over time.

If you don’t live in an area where the Insect Shield is necessary, the SolAir Pant also comes in a standard version, which will save you a bit of coin. Either way, all SolAir pieces feature Brrr© Pro technology to amplify the cooling effect and help keep you cool on those warmer days. Brrr© Pro technology reduces the surface temperature by 3.5° F, and for me it definitely provided a cooling sensation.

I found the fit to be right on with the Forloh SolAir Pants, however, the length was on the shorter side. The website states that the inseam is 32″, but they certainly seemed to be closer to a 31.5″ inseam to me. They simply were about a half inch shorter than other 32″ inseam pants that I’ve tested.

The material is quite thin, and coming in at just 11.5 oz for the size 34 Regular, these are a seriously lightweight pant designed for early season. They still give you a small zippered pocket on your thigh, as well as a zippered pocket on the rear. Given the extremely lightweight nature of these pants, it’s impressive that you get both of these pockets.

BOTTOM LINE – FORLOH SOLAIR PANTS

Forloh SolAir Pants review

The Forloh SolAir Pants are the type of pants you want to wear when the weather is warm, but you don’t want to wear shorts due to brush, bugs, rocks or sun. With their built in 50+ UPF rating, these can be used as a sun shield as well as a bug shield. Don’t expect much protection from thorns, but they’ll give you at least some protection from the elements. I loved how these pants gave me that cooling effect. I really did notice a difference, even when wearing them next to my Sitka Ascent pants which are a similar weight and design.

Forloh AllClima Pants – Forloh Clothing Review

Forloh camo clothing review - FORLOH Allclima pants review

The Forloh AllClima Stretch Woven Pants are the pinnacle of Forloh pants offerings. Why do I say that? Because these pants are that good. They’ll be the ones you grab most of the time, except when it’s warm outside. (In that case go with the SolAir Pants.)

I used the Forloh AllClima Stretch Woven Pants in a very wide range of temperatures and situations from warm spring trail hikes to brutal winter conditions in snow. I was thoroughly impressed with them. The zippered vents on the hips makes them very versatile. Overall, they are a bit on the warmer side. Without the hip vents, I’d say these pants are best worn in temperatures under 50° F, but because of the hip vents, you can extend the comfort range a bit.

Forloh camo clothing review - FORLOH Allclima pants review

When I first started testing these out, I honestly didn’t like the sewn-in knee pads. And while I still wish they were removable, I did come to like them the more I wore them. One downside to having the knee pads sewn in is that they retain more heat, which is not welcomed on warmer days.

On the flip side, during the months you’ll most likely be using these pants, the extra heat retention is very welcomed. The knee pads did form to my leg as time went on, and I found myself liking having them there, particularly when kneeling down to set up my tent, stalking animals, etc. I generally liked having extra cushion between my knees and the ground.

Again, the one exception was during warmer days, as the knee pads made my legs overheat much more quickly than they otherwise would have. For that reason, I didn’t love these pants in warmer temperatures.

BOTTOM LINE – FORLOH ALLCLIMA STRETCH WOVEN PANTS

Forloh camo clothing review - FORLOH Allclima pants review

The Forloh AllClima Stretch Woven Pants are similar in weight to the Sitka Timberline Pants but with the added benefit of a hip vent, making them more versatile. They don’t, however, feature the waterproof seat and knees like the Sitka Timberline pants. At 26 ounces, they are a heavier duty pant that is designed for mid to late season, and are super durable. I really came to love these AllClima pants, even though I wasn’t sure about them at first. They give you more stretch than the Timberline Pants, and because of that I thought they were a bit more comfortable.

Forloh Thermoneutral Down Jacket Review

Forloh camo clothing review - FORLOH Thermoneutral Down Jacket review

Next up we are going to get into insulation. The Forloh Thermoneutral Down Jacket is one of the more unique insulation pieces you will find. Why? There are a number of different technologies integrated into this jacket that you won’t find elsewhere.

The Thermoneutral Down Jacket features:

I’d be lying if I didn’t say my first reaction wasn’t disappointment when seeing that the Thermoneutral Down Jacket had 650 fill duck down. After all, most down jackets in this price range feature a much higher fill power goose down. That being said, I had to check myself and remember that this thing is both made and fully sourced in the USA and includes very unique features mentioned above. That translates to materials that are more expensive and harder to find.

The real test for this Thermoneutral Jacket was how it performed in the field during use. I was able to use this jacket for everything from going to church on Sunday (It’s such a nice looking jacket I wore it everywhere) to chasing mule deer in late October during snowstorms in single digit temperatures.

At 22 ounces for a size large, I wouldn’t classify the Forloh Thermoneutral Down Jacket as an “Ultralight down jacket,” but it certainly isn’t heavy by any stretch. What you’ll notice when you handle the Thermoneutral Down Jacket is that is just feels more substantial. It oddly feels heavier in hand that it actually is, which also gives it extra durability with its quantum 40D Rip-stop nylon shell. Because of that, it is roughly 5-6 ounces heavier than something like the Sitka Kelvin Lite Down, which offers similar warmth.

The Perf-Welds are a very unique and innovative design that allow for more breathability, allowing you to use this jacket in moderately active situations. I also found that this jacket is very quiet for a puffy. Unlike the Sikta Kelvin Lite Down Jacket, which is not that soft to the touch and is entirely too loud for many hunting situations, this Forloh Thermoneutral Down Jacket is extremely soft and quiet.

Forloh camo clothing review - FORLOH Thermoneutral Down Jacket review

One change I would love to see is having this jacket offered with a hood. Because layering over the top of any down jacket can compress the down, and therefore reduce the loft and effectiveness of the down, I typically try to keep my insulation piece as an outer layer. The absence of a hood makes the Thermoneutral Down Jacket not as good in situations where most folks typically want their outer layer to have a hood.

BOTTOM LINE – FORLOH THERMONEUTRAL DOWN JACKET

Forloh camo clothing review - FORLOH Thermoneutral Down Jacket review

The Forloh Thermoneutral Down Jacket is unique in many ways with its Perf-Welds, organic duck down, hoodless design, and beefy 40 denier face fabric. Overall the fit is great as the sizing is right on and allows you to layer under it. I do wish it came with a hood, or that a hooded option was available, but it is super warm and surprisingly breathable with those Perf-Welds. While not the lightest weight puffy jacket on the market, it is one of the few, if not the only truly 100% USA made and sourced puffy jacket. That’s truly an amazing feat in today’s market, and we love supporting USA products!

It is softer and quieter than most other puffy jackets as well, which is a huge plus.

Forloh AllClima Stretch Woven Jacket Review

Forloh Allclima Stetch Woven Softshell Jacket

Next up is the Forloh Allclima Stetch Woven Jacket. Now when the words “soft shell jacket” are uttered, you’ll likely either be in the camp of loving or hating them. After all, soft shell jackets are typically heavy, not that warm, and don’t compress down very well. For those reasons, many backcountry hunters steer clear of them.

On the other hand, in my humble opinion, a good soft shell jacket certainly has its place. They are typically ultra durable, offer excellent windbreak capabilities, and often are close to being a rain jacket. For those reasons, many folks love them and consider them a critical part of their hunting kit.

Personally, I’ve landed somewhere in the middle on soft shell jackets, like this Forloh Allclima Stretch Woven Jacket for instance. I don’t find myself using this type of jacket during early season, but have found them very useful during the October and November rifle seasons where I’m more likely to need protection from a cold wind, snow or rain storm, and need something more durable to throw over other layers.

Some of the unique features of the Forloh AllClima Stretch Woven Jacket are:

Forloh Allclima Stetch Woven Softshell Jacket

This fall during my October rifle deer hunts and November/December late season elk hunts, I put the Forloh Allclima Stretch woven jacket to good use, however, it was unseasonably warm this fall, so this jacket was used as more of an outer layer over some base layers, which was about all I needed most of the time. It is not a terribly warm jacket, as is the case with most soft shell jackets, but it does what it’s designed to do extremely well. It is near dead silent, super comfortable, and flexes with you very well.

One huge downside I found was that it does not have pit zips, which was a bummer. One thing I’ve come to love about the soft shell jackets I’ve used is that the ones that have pit zips are usable in a much wider range of activity levels. Without the pit zips, though, it’s a bit too easy to overheat on a climb up a hill. If I could change one thing about the Forloh Allclima Stretch Woven Jacket, that would be it. I love this jacket but just wish it had pit zips.

Another downside to this jacket is the weight. At 30 ounces for a size medium, it’s a bit heavier than others in its class, like the First Lite Catalyst Jacket coming in around 19 oz and Sitka Jetstream at 26 oz. That’s a significant weight difference, particularly given that the Sitka Jetstream has pit zips, while the First Lite Catalyst does not.

As mentioned before, this jacket is extremely quiet and nearly silent, which is a huge plus in a soft shell jacket. As you probably know, many soft shell jackets can be noisy, which can be a deal breaker in some situations.

BOTTOM LINE – FORLOH ALLCLIMA STRETCH WOVEN JACKET

Forloh Allclima Stetch Woven Softshell Jacket

At the end of the day, whether or not you decide the Forloh Allclima Stretch Woven Jacket is for you will likely depend on your general opinion of soft shells. If you love them, this is an AWESOME jacket that is super durable, extremely quiet, made and sourced in the USA, and is very comfortable.

It is on the heavy side, even for a soft shell, so take that into account when planning for your hunt, but it is very nice either way. It serves well as a windbreaker too, which in and of itself can be a massive game changer.

For me, the Forloh AllClima Stretch Woven Jacket is one that I like to take during my hunts starting in October when the weather tends to change seemingly every hour, and you might be faced with anything from nice sunny warm weather to frigid wind chill all in the same day. It is a super versatile jacket that can allow you far fewer layers because of its ability to cut the wind, but in and of itself isn’t all that warm. As such, it’s not one I typically grab for long glassing sessions unless, again, I need to keep the wind off me while sitting atop a ridge where I might be exposed to more wind.

I have a love/hate with soft shell jackets primarily because of their weight, but when I take one, the Forloh Allclima Stretch Woven Jacket is certainly one of my favorites.

Forloh AllClima 3L Rain Jacket Review

Forloh camo clothing review - FORLOH Allclima L3 Rain Jacket review

Last up in this Forloh clothing review is the Forloh Allclima 3L Rain jacket. This is the rain jacket you want to take when you know you are going to be hit with unrelenting wet conditions. If you are trying to shave some weight and simply need a rain jacket for the more occasional rainstorm, I would recommend the the Forloh Aralite 3L Rain Jacket, which will save you some weight and pack space. However, this AllClima 3L rain jacket is a durable, hard core rain jacket that easily handled everything the weather threw at it.

If you are looking for a more universal jacket, one that is not only 100% waterproof but also has a microfleece liner, check out the Forloh AllClima Softshell Jacket. While it is less of a dedicated rain jacket, it still provides you with waterproof protection, as well as a little more warmth.

Like its other pieces, Forloh uses some pretty unique technology in this rain jacket called the Airadigm™ Pulse Plasma technology. Read all about it in the link, but in short this Airadigm technology coats every fiber with fluorocarbon to provide a more breathable piece of rain gear with faster vapor transmission and better ventilation.

Another super cool feature that is integrated into the Forloh AllClima 3L Rain Jacket is RECCO. What is RECCO? It is a technology that allows you to be searchable to professional rescuers with RECCO detectors. That’s a pretty sweet addition in the unlikely and unfortunate event that you found yourself in a bad situation and needed to be rescued.

Some of the unique features you get with the Forloh AllClima 3L rain jacket are:

  • Airadigm Pulse Plasma Technology
  • Integrated RECCO® search and rescue technology
  • Minimum 20k mm waterproof rating
  • 100% sourced and made in America

My first introduction to this rain jacket was during one of our spring torrential downpours that lasted about 3 hours. We don’t get a ton of heavy rainstorms that last that long here in Idaho, but I was glad to have this piece with me during this storm. I stayed bone dry throughout the storm!

Forloh camo clothing review - FORLOH Allclima L3 Rain Jacket review

During our October rifle season here in Idaho, we were hit with some big storms that produced heavy, wet snow, which turned to rain throughout the day. Again, the Forloh AllClima 3L rain jacket performed flawlessly and provided bone dry protection. I never once got even a little wet during any of the storms I wore this in.

One downside to this jacket is the weight. At 28 ounces for a size large, it’s a bit heavier than others in its class, like the First Lite Omen and Sitka Thunderhead, which both come in around 26 ounces. 2 ounces isn’t a big deal given the extra features like the integrated RECCO that you get with the Foloh AllClima 3L rain jacket, but it would be nice to see a reduction in weight.

This jacket is also very quiet for a rain jacket. As you probably know, many rain jackets are extremely noisy, which can be a deal breaker in some situations. The Forloh AllClima 3L rain jacket is surprisingly quiet in addition to the elite performance it offers.

BOTTOM LINE – FORLOH ALLCLIMA 3L RAIN JACKET

Forloh camo clothing review - FORLOH Allclima L3 Rain Jacket review

The Forloh AllClima 3L Rain Jacket earned its place as my “go-to rain jacket.” The fit is excellent, performance is top-notch, and it is one of the most durable and quiet rain jackets I’ve tested to date. The integrated RECCO Tehcnology allows you to be searched for in the unfortunate event that you get lost, which could be a life saver. The incredible Airadigm™ Pulse Plasma technology flat out works, and I never experienced that clammy feeling while wearing this jacket, even while actively hiking. It’s still rain gear and has its breathability limits, but I was impressed with how breathable it is for being waterproof.

After using this through the conditions I tested it in, unless I find something better, this will be my go-to rain jacket from now on unless I need an ultralight option. It’s that good!

Conclusion – Forloh Camo Clothing Review

After testing out this Forloh camo clothing for over a year, I came away impressed with what Forloh offers. While it is certainly on the expensive side for hunting clothing, it is also (I believe), the only 100% USA SOURCED AND MADE hunting clothing on the market. That in and of itself is impressive and makes you want to support them. Our hunting clothing has to perform well in the field, and Forloh does exactly that while offering a wide array of technologies that are not seen in other clothing options on the market.

While you might pucker a bit on the price tag, Forloh camo clothing is absolutely worth the money, and absolutely worth supporting this truly American made and sourced company.
