Here at Backwoods Pursuit we are avid outdoorsman with a passion for hunting and spending time in the backcountry from early archery elk hunting to late season rifle hunting, we love it all! As and Idaho native, I grew up spending as much of the fall and winter as possible in the mountains. As a kid, I spent time hunting just about anything I could including upland birds, waterfowl, deer and elk. Since the early 2000’s, my passion for chasing big game has become a year round endeavor. Fitness, gear testing, preparation and tinkering with the bow and rifle setups are all parts of the process of getting ready for that magical time of year. Backwoods Pursuit was born to help give you confidence in the gear we use to hunt harder and longer.
